Again I have found a new understanding on what the bible means by Curses and Blessings. Within the bible, from Genesis to Revelation, we can read of several incidences on both blessings and curses. Larry Huch author of the book "10 Curses that Block the Blessing" give biblical insight of how curses, generational or not, may impact our daily lives, even in the year 2011.
Our lack of knowledge on these subjects may leave us defenseless. Do you feel susceptible to the world around you and totally out of control? The intention of this book is to educate and give hope to people so they will live a meaningful and productive existence. Even though, each day may have its issues for us to deal with, this book helps you look at the dilemma with a new perspective.
Larry Huch, author of the book, was delivered from a life of anger, rage, violence and drug addictions. He has gone through the pain and despair that each one of us face at one time or other. He wrote this book to share and educate Gods people. The ten curses discussed in this book are detailed not only with his experiences, but along with others persons encounters, and list of scriptures that support the information.
Some argue that curses are not for God fearing, Saved through Jesus Christ, believers. Maybe the words "curses and blessings" are ways to look at our surroundings and how our reactions to situations effect not only the now but our future. This book is a must have. Larry Huch is an amazing author/pastor/Evangelist who has researched things well and in depth. He was set free from a generational curse of anger that almost destroyed his marriage and family. This book will open your eyes to the spiritual realm and set you free from bondage. I learned things I never knew. It will open the door to receive Gods blessings.
I have been a Christian most of my life. (That's over 45 years, folks!) I have read the Bible cover-to-cover. I learned a LOT from this book!
Larry Huch puts together a lot of things I "knew" from the Bible, and made more real-life sense from them. All of his modern-day examples are from his own life or that of people he knows well.
Since we are all sinners, even if we've been forgiven, we can learn from this book to help ourselves and others. Read it, and pass it on to a sister or brother you love.
This a GREAT book and I enjoyed reading it. The author did good job in helping you to understand curses that are put on us or that we put on ourselves. He also added personal experiences.

I gave this book 5 stars because it was full of revelation for me! How freeing to find out that I didn't have to spin my wheels going nowhere any longer. To learn how to take authority by Jesus, draw the line in the sand, line up to that boundary line, and boldly declare, "The buck stops here!"....and release the blessings I thought were only for others! I especially loved the parallels made with the Jewish roots we've been grafted in to! Powerful teaching! Powerful victory to be found!
This is an amazing book! Pastor Larry took me on a journey into my life and gave me insight as to why God's blessings were held back from my life. He opened my eyes to why bad things happen to "God's" people. He showed me how to open the doors in my life that were closed to me and how to unlock and release God's blessings into my life!
